Consultant (Workstream Lead) – Programme Delivery

Role Summary

Responsible for effective end to end delivery of a programme workstream, from diagnostic and analysis through to successful implementation of a sustainable operational improvement

Key Responsibilities – Delivery

  • – Effective identification of the opportunity and the key areas to address, bringing to bear the relevant Four Eyes methodology and tools
  • – Setting of clear project plan for the workstream and the meeting of relevant milestones in line with overall project plan
  • – Tracking and delivery of agreed KPIs
  • – Effective leveraging of Four Eyes Subject Matter Expert to ensure successful delivery, particularly in ensuring effective management and clinical engagement
  • – The quality of the workstream outputs and the delivery of a tangible, sustainable benefit to the client
  • – Day to day client lead for the workstream, acting as the link between Four Eyes, the relevant management team and clinical staff teams
  • – Ensure that the workstream is fully integrated into the broader programme and be able to address client queries on all activity within the programme, not just their own workstream
  • – Effective and efficient management of internal and client resources as required
  • – Ensure effective communication and engagement with other Four Eyes team members and the client through both high impact formal presentation and reporting and informal updates and catch ups
  • – Ensure any issues and risks are escalated to the Delivery Lead in a timely manner
  • – Able to deputise for the Delivery Lead when required

 

Key Responsibilities – Client

  • – Act as a trusted advisor and partner for client leadership at the workstream level ensuring buy in to Four Eyes programme methodology and identification of potential areas for additional support
  • – Establish relationships quickly and build trust across all levels of staff
  • – Maintain client relationships beyond the duration of the project and look to build a personal network
  • – Contribute to proposals, expressions of interest and engagement letters

 

Key Responsibilities – Insight

  • – Bring to their client work an understanding of the range of Four Eyes methodologies and offerings and how they are deployed in different client settings, knowing how to engage with and bring in SMEs for maximum impact
  • – Demonstrate credible understanding of trust operations and the challenges they face
  • – Accomplished in core consulting skills with one or more areas of specific strength/depth around analysis, problem solving, communications, project management and client management

 

Key Responsibilities – People

  • – Ensure that the workstream has individuals (Four Eyes or client) with the right skills and competencies for successful delivery, and provide appropriate performance management
  • – Contribute to the development of junior staff through formal management on engagements or through informal coaching and mentoring
  • – Be an effective member of the broader engagement team
  • – Effective leverage of network within Four Eyes to support their work and personal development

 

Skills & Experience

Analysis & Problem Solving

  • – Experienced in the use of Four Eyes analytical techniques and able to build on/combine these to respond to different client scenarios
  • – Able to lead internal and client teams in understanding issues, structuring a response and working through to an effective, practical solution
  • – Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel

 

Project Management

  • – Experienced in the use of project management disciplines for smaller, single stream projects and teams, including simple project management tools & methodologies
  • – Excellent attention to detail with proven ability to check work of self and others
  • – Able to apply the fundamentals of effective change management and behavioural change

 

Communication

  • – Excellent communication and presentational skills
  • – Able to successfully influence clients and facilitate teams

 

Effective Team Player

  • – Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and work autonomously or in charge of a small team as required
  • – Adaptability and resilience
  • – Able to coach and develop more junior staff

 

Stakeholder Management

  • – Experienced in building strong, trust based advisory relationships
  • – Able to influence and convey credibility across FEI offerings
  • – Proven experience of collaborative working across teams and organisations
  • – Effective network developer

 

Commercial

  • – Understanding of project and client budget and accounting/finance requirements
